Our Story

Cooper and Arthur met in Year 7 at Haileybury, at the start of their high school journey and have been best friends ever since. Since then they have almost grown up together and have always idolised the idea of starting their own business, as many school mates will do. But Cooper and Arthur always figured it could be more of a reality than just merely a gimmick.

Then one day, after a pretty average round of golf, the conversation started again. At this point, Cooper had already been tutoring for a few months and he realised the value in the service, but he also recognised the demand in their area. And after a bit of chatting and a bit of research at the lunch table, the two of them thought, 'why don't we just start a tutoring business ourselves?'

Both Arthur and Cooper have a persisting interest in both business and commerce, especially in practice, so to start a business was not only an avenue for them to chase their dreams of becoming business partners, but also a way for them to have that practical business application they both enjoyed.

And that is where Studysmart Bayside was born. Since that round of golf, Arthur and Cooper have been working away at establishing a solid framework to grow this business such that it can meet the needs of more students, and help more kids realise and unleash their full academic capacity as they deserve to do.
